Professional Bellydance performer and instructor, Sa’eeda, will be hosting a Holiday Bellydance Show this Saturday night along with her troupe, Sirens of the Sahara, at the Marine Park Recreation Center Auditorium in Santa Monica from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.
Sa’eeda is an international performer and instructor of traditional Egyptian bellydancing.
She teaches bellydancing weekly for the City of Santa Monica’s Department of Community Classes and independently.
The Holiday Bellydance Show program will include performances by troupes, soloists and students.
Performers will include Roses of the Night International Dance Co., Sirenesque, Francesca, and Eshta Amar. The evening will be headlined by internationally-known performer and instructor, Farrah Talei.
Live drumming featuring traditional Arabic rhythms will accompany open dancing during intermission.
The Marine Park Recreation Center is located at 1406 Marine Street, Santa Monica, CA 90405 (just east of Lincoln Boulevard). An $8 donation is requested. Free parking available.
