Old Homestead Steakhouse At Caesars Palace An Iconic New York Outpost:

Since December 2011, Caesars Palace has become home to the Las Vegas restaurant outpost of one of New York City’s most historic restaurants – Old Homestead Steakhouse.

Brothers Marc and Greg Sherry, whose family has been associated with Old Homestead in New York for decades, have ported this classic NYC eatery, known for its quality steakhouse selections and legendary history, to a spectacular new Las Vegas restaurant space.

Appetizers include Maryland Crab Cake with roasted pepper aioli and lambs lettuce and The  Meatball with marinara and ricotta cheese.

A raw bar offers a wide assortment of seafood dishes such as a Shellfish Platter, Chilled Main

Lobster Cocktail and Golden Osetra Caviar. The 32-ounce “Lollipop” Rib-Eye Steak served on the “Dinosaur Bone,” the Steak Filet Mignon on the Bone, and The Gotham Rib Steak are just a few signature cuts on the Old Homestead menu.

Inspired by the New York location’s award winning wine list, more than 15,000 bottles are housed on site.

In addition to the fine selection of red and white wines, there is also a wide collection of champagnes available by glass or bottle.

Fifteen specialty cocktails on the bar menu include classics such as the Cosmo and the Lemon Drop, and are highlighted by inventive selections created by award-winning Mixologist Eddie Perales – the Bacon Bloody Mary, the Beer It Up Cocktail, and the Cherry and Chocolate Martini. There are also seven different beers on tap to choose from.

The restaurant is more than 6,000 square feet. EDG Interior Architecture + Design draws on the history and character of the Meatpacking District original while infusing a current sense of glamor and energy. The restaurant inventively references the 1868 restaurant and its urban neighborhood; blending a vintage, street sensibility with contemporary light and sparkle, the result is a traditional steakhouse with a unique atmosphere.

The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 4:45 pm to 10:30pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 4:45 pm to 11 pm.
