Adoption Pets Of The Week: Penelope & Austin:

Local pet adoption center No Kill Los Angeles (NKLA) in West LA has lots of loving cats and dogs that are looking for homes, including Penelope and Austin.

Penelope is the type who lights up the room when you walk in with her sweet “meow” and her beauty, inside and out.

She is a young, friendly, expressive cat that would love nothing more than her own family to surround her with love!

Throughout the month of June, celebrate nine times the love (and the cuteness!) with nine lives for $9 promotion. Adopt any cat or kitten for only $9. Stop by the pet center to meet Penelope and other cats just like her today.

Meanwhile, Austin is a playful five-year-old Maltese/Poodle mix who is a volunteer favorite.

So much so that a wonderful volunteer has sponsored his adoption fee to give him the best chance at getting adopted.

Stop by the NKLA Pet Adoption Center to meet Austin, and it’s likely you’ll find this friendly guy schmoozing with staff and visitors!

Austin recently graduated from NKLA Coalition partner k9 Connection’s training program where he learned socialization skills and basic obedience training by k9 students and their professional trainer.

His adoption comes with free in-home transition training to help you and your dog settle in together.

NKLA is located at 1845 Pontius Avenue in West Los Angeles, near Sepulveda and Santa Monica Boulevard. It is open daily from noon to 8 pm.

For more information, call 424.208.8840 or visit nkla.org/petadoptioncenter.
