New Chase Manager Named For 226 26th Street Branch In Santa Monica:

Chase has named Sergio S. Salup manager of its Santa Monica branch, located at 226 26th Street. In this role, Salup will be responsible for the daily operation of the branch and lead a team of 11.

Together, they offer a wide range of financial services and products for area residents, including financial planning tools, mortgage origination services, auto loans and credit cards.

Salup has worked at Chase for about four years, most recently managing a branch in Culver City.

Chase, which five years ago had no presence in California, continues to grow steadily and now has more than 1,000 branches throughout the Golden State.

Chase employs more than 15,000 California residents and serves more than 10 million consumer customers and 692,000 small business clients. In Los Angeles County, it has more than 300 branches and almost 5,000 employees.

“Many banks are cutting their branch network, but Chase continues to grow across Los Angeles County,” said Salup. “We are determined to provide the most convenient banking experience for our customers. Our branches are guidance centers — destinations where local residents can have comprehensive conversations about their financial life, whether that’s financing their first home or preparing for retirement.”
