A man apparently shot himself to death in the parking lot of the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station, authorities said today.
Lt. J. Munson of the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station confirmed that homicide detectives and the coroner were investigating the shooting as an apparent suicide and that the deceased was a man, but she gave no further details.
The shooting was reported at 10:24 p.m. Saturday in a public parking lot at the sheriff’s station at Santa Monica and San Vicente boulevards, Los Angeles County Fire Dispatcher Ed Pickett said.
Paramedics did not take anyone from the scene, Pickett said.
