Branding and marketing professional Jodi Lipe has been appointed senior vice president of marketing for Ovation, America’s only Arts Network.
In her new role with the network, Lipe will oversee all consumer marketing, partnerships, and branding efforts, as well as all of the network’s social media platforms.
She will be based in Ovation’s Santa Monica offices and report to Liz Janneman, EVP, Network Strategy.
Previously, Lipe was EVP, Marketing for POPSUGAR and ShopStyle, two leading global women’s lifestyle brands focused in media, commerce, content and technology.
Prior to POPSUGAR, she led marketing and advertising efforts for many iconic media and lifestyle companies, including Cisco’s Flip Video, Current TV, AMC-TV, Viacom, Excite.com and Cartoon Network.
“Jodi is both a strategic and creative brand builder with a proven track record building, leading, and executing for brands across a variety of categories,” said Janneman. “We are delighted to have her on board as an integral part of our senior management team.”
“Ovation is on an upward trajectory, fueled by its commitment and mission to create innovative and accessible original arts-focused programming,” said Lipe. “I personally love the arts and entertainment and to be able to lead the marketing efforts for America’s only Arts network, at this time in the network’s evolution, is both meaningful and exciting. I’m looking forward to building upon the great foundation that Liz and the Ovation team have worked very hard to establish over the past seven years.”
Lipe lives in Santa Monica with her husband, son, and dog.
