Los Angeles County CEO William Fujioka Endorses Sheila Kuehl For Supervisor:

Los Angeles County Chief Executive Officer William Fujioka today endorsed Sheila Kuehl for county supervisor.

Fujioka will be retiring in November after 40 years of public service.

As he leaves office, he wants to be sure that “the county’s finances are left in good hands and that it continues to practice the sound fiscal policies which have allowed the county to weather the recession,” he said, adding that thisis why he’s endorsing Kuehl.

“I trust Sheila Kuehl to be a powerful and effective voice for sound fiscal and budgetary practices,” he said.

Kuehl, who is running for the Third District seat against another Democrat, Bobby Shriver, said she was “deeply honored” to have the support of William Fujioka.
