Assistance League Of Santa Monica Installs New Board Members:

The new Assistance League of Santa Monica Board of Directors.

Assistance League of Santa Monica held its annual board installation luncheon Wednesday at the Bel-Air Bay Club.

The new Board of Directors are Joyce Landsverk, Gina Peled, Gloria Fowler, Helen Pongoski, Pam Boyer, Diane Ward, Jeanine Richards, Anne Rosten, Thelma Orosco, and Barbara Feick.

The Assistance League of Santa Monica is a non-profit organization made up of member-volunteers that run a thrift shop that funds its philanthropic programs that assist children and families in the Santa Monica Bay region.

The programs include backpacks with school supplies, camp scholarships, collage scholarships, emergency school clothing, vision and dental care, puppet shows on bullying and divorce, and teddy bears for trauma victims.

The Thrift Shop is located at 1453 15th Street in Santa Monica and accepts tax-deductible donations. The shop hours are 11 am to 3 pm daily except Wednesday and Sunday.
