Santa Monica To Remain In Grips Of Heat Wave Today With High Of 81:

The Southland will remain in the grips of a heat wave today following a day of record-setting high temperatures.

Today’s temperatures were expected to  remain abnormally high though a few degrees lower than Sunday’s, remaining in the low 90s in several communities while slipping to the high 80s in others.

Today, NWS forecasts a high of 81 today in Santa Monica, 74 on Tuesday, and 67 on Wednesday.

Record highs were recorded in the greater Los Angeles area on Saturday and Sunday.
