Art Reception Wednesday To Feature Works By Fire Chief Scott Ferguson:

Many in Santa Monica do not know that Santa Monica Fire Chief Scott Ferguson has a secret talent: he is an outstanding artist. 

Ferguson has illustrated famous personalities and incorporated special firefighter themes. 

This Wednesday, April 22, Art One Gallery in Santa Monica will host a special art showing from 5 pm to 7 pm featuring Ferguson’s work that include the likes of Morgan Freeman, Robin Williams, Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson, Tom Selleck, and Abraham Lincoln.

Gallery owner Helen Randall said she was thrilled to exhibit his art.

“Scott captures the essence of each personality in his portraits,” she said. “He has a real talent for drawing eyes and facial expression.” 

Art One Gallery has been a fixture on the 3rd Street Promenade since 1989.  They are located at 1331 3rd Street, between Santa Monica and Arizona.

The special showing is free and open to the public.
