The Harold Robinson Foundation will host its 5th annual Pedal on the Pier fundraiser this Sunday, May 31, with the goal of exceeding $700,000.
The Santa Monica Pier will transform into a high-energy outdoor cycling studio to raise funds for the non-profit that help provides “unity and community” to inner-city kids through life-changing camp experiences.
Renowned Los Angeles spin instructors from Cycle House will guide teams of riders for the day at Pedal on the Pier; all with a mission to raise money to send more than 25 different Los Angeles inner-city schools to camp on an all-expense paid retreat.
The event will open at 9:30 am. The 100-mile ride overlooking the Pacific Ocean begins at 11 am.
The day will also feature DJs, bands, celebrity guests, athletes, food, and drinks.
The Harold Robinson Foundation provides Los Angeles’ underprivileged children with a unique opportunity to attend an ACA accredited, overnight camp in the woods, just 90 minutes outside of Los Angeles.
Most of these kids have never even left their neighborhoods and Camp Ubuntu gives them a safe, fun and nurturing environment to grow in a positive way.
Sponsors of the 5th annual Pedal on the Pier include: Caliwater, Cycle House, Instabrand, Wells Fargo, Waiakea Water, Delicious Vinyl, Bead Relief, among others.
