A 22-year-old Santa Monica man was arrested and charged with domestic violence on Thursday, June 4, after throwing a moneybag at his mother and injuring her.
Officers of the Santa Monica Police Department were called out to a report of domestic violence in the 1800 block of 11th Street at 7 pm.
Neighbors had called after they had become concerned after hearing yelling and screaming coming from the residence.
The officers rushed to the scene and Swiss Replica Watches when they arrived they discovered the suspect still arguing strenuously with a woman who turned out to be his mother.
The officers separated the pair and spoke with them individually.
The officers learned that the son had thrown a canvas moneybag at his mother.
The moneybag had contained documents and checks and had struck the mother in her back with such force that it had caused a visible injury.
The mother told the officers that her son had become increasingly angry and hostile towards her after he had returned from college, but this was the first time that he had injured her.
The officers arrested this Santa Monica man and he was charged with domestic violence. Bail was set at $1,000.
