The water feature in Ken Genser Square in front of City Hall will be fenced for scheduled maintenance of the water feature and plant material starting this Monday, Oct. 19.

Maintenance work that will be conducted during this time period will include cleaning and sealing the concrete water feature, repotting the lilies, and testing and cleaning the pumps and mechanical equipment.

The feature is scheduled to be open on Dec. 2, 2015, in time for the Holiday Season.

When the fence comes down in the early winter season, the lilies will be dormant, and no leaves or flowers will be present. The lilies are anticipated to bloom again in the spring.
