SOMAfest 10 LA is week of workshops, performances, discussions and jams in Santa Monica, exploring and celebrating the myriad of Somatic Movement Dance practices, and is set to kick-off Tuesday, August 30.
SOMAfest 10 enlivens artists, audiences and participants from all walks of life to move beyond expected experiences of both physical self-discovery and expression.
“SOMAfest workshops and performances are an exploration and celebration of myriad Somatic Dance practices, diverse expressions of the body as a living process and revolutionary possibilities of Art,” organizers said.
Artists/Educators from Los Angeles, NYC, San Diego, Portland OR, and Canada will offer experiences that cultivate body-mind creativity, integration, presence and community.
