Santa Monica Public Library presents The Artisan Guitar Ensemble

The Santa Monica Public Library is proud to present The Artisan Guitar Ensemble in concert on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Library’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.

The Artisan Guitar Ensemble is comprised of Max Mendoza, Daniel Ramirez, and Andre Giraldo. The three met while attending Cal State Fullerton and decided to form their own group while on tour with the Fullerton Guitar Orchestra. This classical guitar trio brings a high quality chamber music experience into the lives of others, performing works by Alexander Borodin, Isaac Albeniz, Enrique Granados, Paulo Bellinati, and Theirry Tisserand, as well as some Balkan pieces arranged by Max Mendoza and Atanas Ourkouzounov.

This is a ticketed event. Free tickets for auditorium seating will be released one hour prior to event. One ticket per guest. Guest must be present to receive a ticket. Seating is limited and on a first arrival basis. This program is free and open to all ages. The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair accessible. For disability-related accommodations, call Library Administration at (310) 458-8606 at least one week prior to event. The Main Library is directly served by Big Blue Bus lines 1, R10, and 18. The Expo Line and other bus routes stop nearby. Ride your bike. Bicycle parking racks are available at the library.
