Police Offering Reward Identifying Sake House Arson Suspects

SMPD and ATF offering $5K reward

Santa Monica police and federal law enforcement officials are offering $5,000 for info identifying three suspects wanted for setting a sushi restaurant on fire amid looting on last week.

According to the Santa Monica Police Department (SMPD), three individuals–pictured above with what is likely merchandised obtained amid the looting–are wanted for the arson that occurred May 31 at the Sake House by Hikari, located at 401 Santa Monica Boulevard in Santa Monica.

The SMPD and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) announced Tuesday a reward of up to $5,000 for information related to the arrest of those responsible.

“We are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the subjects pictured,” the SMPD said in a media release.
