By Staff Writer

Although the novel coronavirus has dominated the health space this year, other diseases — like diabetes — have not gone on hiatus.

This year, UCLA Health’s annual Diabetes Conference will be held virtually — via Zoom. While safely distancing and from the comfort of their own living rooms, people throughout Southern California can learn about the latest in diabetes research, treatment, new technology, integrative medicine approaches and tools to manage the disease.

The event will take place Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020 from 9-11:00 a.m.

Participation is free. To register, call 424-235-0147 or email diabeteseducation@mednet.ucla.edu. Include your name, guest’s name, and your contact information. Pre-registration deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020.
