SMPD investigating October 3 incident

Santa Monica police are searching for the driver of a party bus that was involved in a traffic collision over that weekend that resulted in multiple injuries.
According to Santa Monica Police Department (SMPD), Lieutenant Rudy Flores, on October 3 around 3:08 am, officers received a radio call of a traffic collision involving a party bus in the 1000 block of PCH, just north of the Santa Monica Pier.
The crash involved one other vehicle and the passenger of that vehicle was transported to a local hospital.
In addition, according to the SMPD, approximately 10 passengers on the bus sustained minor injuries.
“The driver of the bus fled the scene prior to the arrival of Officers, Flores wrote in an email statement. “Passengers on the bus provided very little information regarding the driver.”
