Homeless Man Flees on Bike After Robbing Bank

The Suspect Robbed the Bank With an Estimated $1,100

On the morning of June 20, 2023, at approximately 9:30 am, a lone individual entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 120 Broadway in Santa Monica. Armed with a demand note, the suspect robbed the bank, with an estimated sum of $1,100.

Escaping the scene on a bicycle, the suspect fled the vicinity. Law enforcement promptly disseminated a description of the suspect and the direction of their escape to police officers in the area.

Within a brief period, authorities managed to locate the suspect in the 2000 block of Ocean Front Walk. The individual was still found in possession of the stolen money. Witnesses positively identified the suspect, leading to their arrest on charges of robbery.

The apprehended individual has been identified as Jordan Thomas Franzino, with a date of birth on December 26, 1994. Franzino, hailing from another state, currently finds themselves experiencing homelessness.
