The Tables Were Turned
The tables were turned on a married couple after they demanded officers arrest someone they claimed was guilty of assault.
On Tuesday, shortly after 9 a.m., officers responded to a call about a battery suspect at the 13000 block of Marina Pointe Drive in Marina del Rey. The woman who reported the incident claimed she was sexually assaulted by an individual who, during the call, was being held down by her husband.
Upon investigating the incident, officers determined that the person being restrained did not commit sexual battery.
The wife, however, was arrested for battery while the husband was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
No additional information was provided at the time of this writing. No injuries were reported in the incident.
