Children’s Holiday Book Fair Returns to Santa Monica’s Fairview Branch Library

Kids Can Select Free Book Gifts, Create Cards, and Enjoy Holiday Treats

Santa Monica Public Library’s Fairview Branch will hold its second annual Children’s Holiday Book Fair on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event invites children under 18 to “shop” for free book gifts for their loved ones, wrapping them onsite to share the holiday spirit.

Library staff and volunteers will assist children in selecting books and wrapping gifts, ensuring options for all holiday traditions. Attendees can also create holiday cards and enjoy festive treats and drinks.

The event is supported by the Friends of the Santa Monica Public Library. To learn more or become a member, visit friendsofsmpl.org.

The Fairview Branch is located at 2101 Ocean Park Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90405. The event is free and open to the public. For more information on this or other library programs, visit smpl.org.

All library locations are wheelchair accessible. For disability accommodations, call (310) 458-8600 at least one week in advance. Visitors are encouraged to use bicycles or the Big Blue Bus. Bicycle parking racks are available at all locations.
