City of Santa Monica Seeks Applicants for City Boards and Commissions

Deadline is June 17 for Open Civic Roles on Key City Advisory Boards

The deadline is approaching for residents interested in shaping local policy, and community services are invited to apply for open positions on several City of Santa Monica Boards and Commissions.

The application window is now open, with vacancies on a variety of advisory bodies, including the Disabilities Commission, the Measure GS Resident Oversight Committee, and the L.A. County West Vector Control District Board, among others.

The deadline to submit applications is Tuesday, June 17, and appointments are scheduled to be made by the City Council on Monday, June 24.

Santa Monica’s Boards and Commissions provide input to the City Council on key issues ranging from accessibility and public health to infrastructure, sustainability, and fiscal oversight. The city encourages applicants from all backgrounds to participate in local government and help shape the future of Santa Monica.
