James Beard Award Winner Teams With Caruso and River Jetty Restaurant Group for a Bold New Dining Destination in Pacific Palisades
James Beard Award-winning chef Nancy Silverton is teaming up with Caruso and River Jetty Restaurant Group to launch Spacca Tutto, a new Italian American steakhouse set to open in Palisades Village in August 2026.
Early renderings reveal a sophisticated concept that blends Silverton’s signature flair with classic steakhouse tradition, signaling what is expected to become one of Los Angeles’ most anticipated dining destinations.
Drawing inspiration from Silverton’s acclaimed chi SPACCA, Spacca Tutto will merge Italian influences with the timeless appeal of American steakhouse dining. The restaurant’s menu will feature an extensive steak program alongside familiar comfort dishes, lighter fare such as salads, seafood, and seasonal vegetables, as well as a robust bar menu ideal for casual dining or cocktails.

Guests can expect nearly 250 Italian and domestic wine labels curated to complement the menu, as well as a “fast craft” cocktail program designed for precision and all-day service. The restaurant’s name, spacca tutto, translates loosely from Italian as “go for it” — a fitting mantra for the ambitious new concept.
The project will serve as a centerpiece in the reimagined Palisades Village, a major redevelopment following the January 2025 fires. Design will be led by AvroKO, the global, award-winning firm renowned for creating immersive, high-end hospitality environments around the world.
A trailblazer in the culinary world, Silverton is the co-owner of the Mozza Restaurant Group, which operates eight restaurants globally, including Michelin-starred Osteria Mozza, Pizzeria Mozza, Mozza2Go, and chi SPACCA in Los Angeles. Her U.S. ventures also include Osteria Mozza DC with restaurateur Stephen Starr and Osteria Mozza Lanai at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii. International locations span from Singapore to Los Cabos, Mexico.

Silverton has earned four James Beard Awards, including Outstanding Pastry Chef (1991) and Outstanding Chef (2014). That same year, Fortune and Food & Wine named her one of the Most Innovative Women in Food & Drink. She is also the author of 11 cookbooks, including The Mozza Cookbook (2011), Mozza at Home (2016), chi SPACCA (2020), and The Cookie That Changed My Life (2023), which appeared on the New York Times Best Seller list.
