The Santa Monica College Music Department will host a performance by the SMC Wind Ensemble, titled “War Horses,” on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. at The Eli & Edythe Broad Stage, located at 1310 11th Street in Santa Monica.

Led by conductor Kevin McKeown, the ensemble will present a program featuring a mix of lesser-known older band compositions and enduring classics that have been staples for decades. McKeown noted the concert will also include a special Halloween encore composed by a local talent, adding a festive touch to the afternoon.

The event, held at the SMC Performing Arts Center near Santa Monica Boulevard, offers general admission tickets for $10, plus a small service fee, while students with valid ID can attend for free. Tickets are available in advance online at smc.edu/tickets or by calling 310-434-3005 during limited weekday hours.
