Women’s Clothing Boutique to Close on the Promenade by End of Month

The company indicated that online sales will continue after the store shuts its doors

Seasons By, a boutique clothing store on the Third Street Promenade, will close at the end of November, according to a sign posted in its storefront.

“Our time in Santa Monica is coming to an end at the end of November,” the notice reads. “We will say goodbye but you can still buy online. Storewide is $9.99. We thank you for the love of our little store.”

The shop, located in the Clock Tower Building at 1354 Third Street Promenade, has marketed itself as a budget-friendly, trend-focused retailer. Its website describes the brand as a “one stop shop” for new, high-quality and fashion-forward styles “at the fairest price point.”

Founded in Los Angeles, the company says it built its identity around design, curation and affordability. Seasons By also promotes what it calls “shopping savvy and shopping sustainably,” offering sample pieces ranging from prototypes to pre-production styles for $15 through its “1 of 1 — Sample Vault” program.

No reason for the closure was posted, and the company indicated that online sales will continue after the store shuts its doors.
