17th Annual Santa Monica Pub Crawl to Raise Funds for Westside Food Bank

The crawl runs along two routes — Main Street and the Third Street Promenade — featuring over 20 bars and restaurants

The 17th annual Santa Monica Pub Crawl returns Saturday, Dec. 13, with organizers aiming to provide one million meals for the Westside Food Bank — double the roughly 500,000 meals raised since the charity event began in 2008.

The 21-and-over crawl starts at 5 p.m. and runs along two routes — Main Street and the Third Street Promenade — featuring more than 20 participating bars and restaurants offering wristband holders $6–$9 drink specials, one free welcome drink (first 500 at each starting point), free entry and discounted food.

New this year are a block party on the Promenade with outdoor DJs and pop-up bars in the city’s recently approved Entertainment Zone, a Main Street beer garden, a scavenger hunt with cash prizes, and a “Sober Santa” ticket option for non-drinkers and designated drivers.

Costume contests, free pedicab rides between venues and an official after-party at 1212 in downtown Santa Monica are also on the schedule.

Tickets are $20 for a single-route wristband, $40 for all-access VIP and $15 for the sober option. A portion of proceeds benefits the Westside Food Bank.
