Modern spot near beach offers spice-infused dishes like Burmese khow suey, chaat and biryani, plus rotating holiday cocktail cart through December
Fitoor, a contemporary Indian restaurant that opened earlier this month on Ocean Avenue, will host a Christmas Day brunch buffet featuring a range of regional dishes.
The buffet, priced at $105 per person, includes stations with Burmese khow suey, live chaat preparations such as pani puri and samosa chaat, frankies with fillings like chicken bhuna or paneer bhurji, dosas, mains including pav bhaji, egg roast curry, Hyderabadi dum ka murgh and mutton keema biryani, and desserts like chocolate flourless cake and prunes crème brûlée.
The restaurant, at 1755 Ocean Ave., is also running a holiday cocktail cart throughout December that circulates through the dining room with changing weekly specials, alternating between festive drinks and seasonal small plates or desserts.
Fitoor, which specializes in wood-fired modern Indian cuisine with coastal influences, launched in early December as an expansion from the Bay Area. The menu draws from various Indian regions, often incorporating fusion elements.
Reservations for the Christmas brunch can be made through the restaurant’s website or platforms like OpenTable.
