A two-day St. Patrick’s Day bar crawl will take over downtown Santa Monica later this month, with organizers inviting revelers to “grab wristbands now” for the annual “Kiss Me, I’m Irish” celebration on March 14 and March 17.
The event will feature drink specials and no-cover entry at participating bars across the city’s downtown and Third Street Promenade areas.
Registration and wristband pickup will take place at Britannia Pub, 318 Santa Monica Blvd., from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 14, and from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday, March 17. Organizers said wristbands must be picked up during those time windows. Pre-purchased wristbands are required to participate.
Other participating venues include 1212 Santa Monica, Barney’s Beanery, Cabo Cantina, Holey Moley, LouLou Santa Monica and Santa Monica Whaler.
According to promotional materials, the wristband grants entry without a cover charge to any participating bar and access to exclusive drink specials throughout the event.
A map provided by organizers shows locations clustered along Santa Monica Boulevard and the Third Street Promenade, allowing participants to walk between venues.
