Castanea Sicilian Cafe on Ocean Front Walk is hosting a hands-on espresso and coffee class Friday evening, inviting participants to learn professional barista skills in the heart of Venice Beach.
The workshop, scheduled for 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. March 13 covers espresso extraction, milk steaming, preparation of classic drinks such as cappuccino and latte, and introductory latte art techniques. Organizers describe it as suitable for beginners and coffee enthusiasts alike, with attendees receiving a certificate of completion at the end.
