The Venice-born stand brings its famous $4.50 cheeseburgers and a new breakfast menu to Santa Monica.
Santa Monica’s Montana Avenue will welcome a new dining staple this May as The Win~Dow Santa Monica prepares to launch its latest location, bringing its signature affordable smashburgers to the upscale shopping district.
Established in 2019 by American Gonzo Restaurants’ Paul Hibler and Jeff Goodman, the concept first gained a cult following at its original Venice window. The new 50-seat location at 930 Montana Ave. marks a significant expansion for the brand, which has become a primary driver in Southern California’s smashburger movement by pairing high-quality ingredients with accessible pricing.

The menu features the brand’s trademark $4.50 cheeseburgers alongside fried chicken sandwiches, grain bowls, and kale salads. Unique to the Santa Monica site, the kitchen will also offer dipped cones, milkshakes, and a dedicated weekend breakfast service featuring burritos and egg-topped burgers.
Designed by the local Klein Agency, the space blends the aesthetic of a classic hamburger stand with modern, refined finishes. The indoor-outdoor layout includes custom communal lounge seating and original murals by Los Angeles artist KC Haxton.
The Win~Dow is scheduled to operate from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, with doors opening at 9 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. This opening serves as a precursor to further regional expansion planned for later this year.
