On Saturday, Dec. 10, at 9:50 p.m. officers of the Santa Monica Police Department went to the 1300 block of Third Street Promenade in order to uncover the bare facts of the matter of a man who had reportedly been exposing himself.
When the officers arrived, they spoke to the victim. Apparently the victim had been watching a street performer when the suspect had unzipped his pants, removed his penis, and then brushed his exposed penis against the backside of the victim before walking away southbound on Third Street.
The witness to this incident then followed the suspect until the police arrived. The victim was desirous of a prosecution and so the officers arrested the man, a 64-year-old resident of Sun Valley. His bail was set at $20,000.
