Armando Hernandez of Sherman Oaks was one of the many colorfully wardrobed surfers at this year’s Doo-Dah Surf event held at Sunset Beach on Saturday, July 25. Doo-Dah started in the spring of 2002 when local surfers decided to bring the fun back to surfing after experiencing hostility at local breaks. The event was a fundraiser for the Surfrider Foundation, and surfing was followed by beach clean up.
