(1) Shoppers enjoy the festive atmosphere at the Third Street Promenade with seasonal decorations and many free special events as part of the Winterlit holiday events. (2) Rabbi Michael Gotlieb of Kehillat Ma’arav led members of his congregation and the community in lighting the giant Menorah at the Third Street Promenade (1300 block) on Tuesday, December 15. Synagogues in the community each take a night to light the Menorah, at sundown every evening of Chanukah, as part of the Winterlit holiday events at the Promenade.
