The Sears automotive building, which opened in 1947 on the southeast corner of 4th Street and Colorado, had it’s signage removed on Wednesday, March 31. The site is planned for demolition to make way for the new Rapid Transit Terminus that will be the end of the Light Rail tracks. The architecture was a classic late Streamline Modern Commercial building.Photo by MARGARET MOLLOY
