Cat Fanciers’ Association All Breed Cat Show

August 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

August 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission: $10

The Santa Monica Cat Club presents “Tiki Time;” a themed cat show with up to 300 pedigreed cats and kittens to see at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium this weekend.

Sit and watch cats on the judging table, or walk around and visit the cats between judging sessions.

There will be four judging rings going on concurrently both days.

No matter what time you arrive you’re bound to see your favorite breed being judged.

Breeds include: Abyssinian, Somali, Burmese, Siamese, Cornish Rex, Persian, Ocicat, Maine Coon, Himalayan and up to 20 more.

Santa Monica Family Breakfast 101

Learn how to make classic pastries, chorizos and preserves for your upcoming Labor Day breakfast in bed, all while sipping locally roasted coffee at The Market on Santa Monica Place.

The breakfast event features pastry chefs from the Gourmandise School of Sweets and Savories, charcuterie expert Paul Osher, and Valerie Gordon of Valerie Confections who will demonstrate how to make fig jam.
