Drunk 55-Year-Old Man Suspected Of Stabbing Santa Monica Man: APB: Stabbed, But Stable

On Friday, August 27, at 11:11 p.m. officers of the Santa Monica Police Department went to the 1300 block of 2nd Street in response to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.

When they arrived at the scene the victim, who was standing outside the apartment building, met the officers.

This man showed them a single stab wound to his chest that he had received during an altercation with the suspect.

The man was treated by paramedics at the scene, and then taken to a local hospital for further treatment.

Officers investigated and discovered the suspect, a 55-year-old man, inside his apartment.

This suspect appeared to be very, very drunk.

So drunk in fact that he was taken to hospital to be treated.

After he had been treated for his intoxicated state, the officers arrested this man and he was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, and making criminal threats.

His bail was set at $50,000.
