Entire Long Beach Freeway (710) To Close Tonight:

The entire Long Beach Freeway (710) will be close again tonight for the second time this weekend in both directions for paving replacement.

Tonight’s full freeway closure will start 11 p.m. and end tomorrow morning at 5 a.m.

The first full freeway closure was held Friday night until Saturday at 6 a.m.

During these times, the following ramps will be closed:

• On-ramps to northbound I-710: from Imperial Highway, Firestone Blvd. and Florence Avenue.

• On-ramps to southbound I-710: from Atlantic Blvd., Florence Ave. & Firestone Boulevard.

• Off-ramps from southbound I-710: at Florence Avenue and Firestone Boulevard.

In addition to these ramp closures, the eastbound and westbound I-105 connector to northbound I-710 will also be closed.

The work is being conducted by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) as part of the Long Life Pavement Rehabilitation Project from Firestone Boulevard to Slauson Avenue.
