Santa Monica Campus Of UCLA Health System Open Day Today:

The Santa Monica Campus of UCLA Health System will hold an open day this Sunday

Visit the new Santa Monica Campus of UCLA Health System today, Sunday Sept. 18. between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m during its Open Day.

Tours, health screenings and literature, children’s activities, musical entertainment, giveaways, refreshments, and photo opportunities with UCLA mascots Joe and Josephine Bruin will all be part of the afternoon.

The new hospital will house 266 inpatient beds in spacious, mostly private rooms that feature family space and sleeper chairs for rooming-in.

It also will feature Santa Monica’s only inpatient Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care Units, as well as Santa Monica’s only ER specializing in emergency pediatric services.

It is located at 16th Street between Wilshire Boulevard and Arizona Avenue. Parking is available at 1311 16th Street.
