News anchor Christine Devine Signs will sign copies of "Finding A Forever Family" at The Santa Monica Library on Nov. 19

FOX 11 news anchor Christine Devine will sign copies of her book “Finding A Forever Family” at the Santa Monica Library’s main branch on Nov. 19 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Devine has written this book with the overall goal of bringing attention to the kids and plight of all children in foster care by being an example of overcoming the odds and recognizing ways we can all serve.

In this moving memoir, Devine shares her 15-year journey reporting on children “in the system” and the families who adopt them.

She is in the know as her own parents fostered and adopted an estimated 500 children who’ve aired on her newscast have found forever families.

She speaks from her heart on the struggles, disappointments and doubt that can come with children who’ve been so traumatized.

Through “Finding a Forever Family”, see how Christine is transformed by these amazing adoptive families who share their unmatched joys, unexpected rewards and life-changing lessons.

Devine also appeared at the National Congressional Coalition’s Angel’s in Adoption Awards in DC on Oct. 5 in conjunction with the release of “Finding A Forever Family” in advance of November’s Adoption Month.
