Earth Day Plans Are Underway:

Preparations have begun for two celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of Earth Day.

The first will be an Environmental Festival on Saturday, April 16, on the Third Street Promenade.

Organizers expect some 15,000 people to attend.

Calendar of Events, go to http://abwhost.net/earthdayla/adde.asp.The second event, WorldFest 2005: The Rhythms of Revolution will be held Sunday, April 17, at Woodley Park on Victory Boulevard west of the 405 in Van Nuys, with 30 bands and 150 booths.
