Santa Monica is continuing to transition away from the permanent drop-off center to a home pick-up service for household hazardous waste collection.
More than 800 residents used the Home Collection service during the 11 month pilot and feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
Residents reported that service was convenient, safe, and professionally executed.
Home Collection expands levels of access and service for residents while reducing costs – it will be provided free to homeowners and renters in Santa Monica and takes approximately two weeks from the time you call or email to schedule your appointment.
