Sheraton Delfina Santa Monica Unveils Renovations:

Sheraton Delfina Santa Monica recently unveiled its complete renovation of its 310 guest rooms, penthouse ballroom, lobby lounge, and public spaces.

The hotel, part of Viceroy Hotel Group’s Urban Retreat Collection and owned by Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, employed designer Andrea Dawson to update the hotel’s look.

“The inspiration for Sheraton Delfina was envisioned with a hint of bygone eras to offer guests an experience of undeniably laid back luxury,” Dawson said. “Modern, with a sophisticated retro twist, the vibrant color palate is designed to capture the fresh flavor of surf, sun and sand.”

Guests entering the lobby will experience dramatic wood floors and contemporary living room seating, which evoke a cozy and welcoming California beach flavor with the color palate of soft sand, cream, coral and ocean blue.

Both social and intimate, the lobby encourages friends and guests to gather and relax over appetizers and cocktails.

With the soothing and inviting atmosphere, the Delfina pushes the boundary between business and pleasure and it is in this refreshing atmosphere that guests can effortlessly unwind and enjoy.

The décor in the Sheraton Delfina guestrooms features different shades of blues and grays to capture the colors of the Santa Monica sky and sea.

Dramatic retro floor lamps, oversized white lacquered mirrors, and dynamic floor to ceiling white patent leather headboards enhance the fresh and lively quality of these contemporary spaces.

Additionally, scenic moments of the beach community’s iconic past are featured in a lighthearted gallery of images, while custom designed wall coverings and fabrics capture the classic yet casual form of California style.

Bathrooms are finished in white marble floors with luxurious chrome hardware, and equipped with rain-style showerheads.

The four room types (traditional, deluxe, club level and junior suites) all include in-room amenities such as Sweet Sleeper beds, flat-screen televisions, high-speed Internet access and digital safes.

The new look of the hotel’s penthouse level ballroom is for both formal and casual weddings and receptions.

As Santa Monica city’s only roof top space, this ‘ballroom in the sky’ features well-appointed, classic interiors that enhance the experience and create memorable events.

To commemorate the unveiling of the renovation, Sheraton Delfina is offering guests the “Renew” Rate, which includes accommodations in the newly remodeled rooms from $299/night. Rate is available all summer until August 31, 2012.
