Santa Monica College’s Emeritus College’s 2005 Student Juried Exhibiton, “Natural Impressions,” opened on June 9, and will be on view until August 19 at the Emeritus College Art Gallery.
The exhibit will feature an eclectic mix of styles, media and content.
The opening reception for the exhibit, which features a mix of styles, media and content, will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 23 in the gallery, on the first floor of Emeritus College, 1227 Second Street in downtown Santa Monica.
Student works were chosen by jurors Elizabeth Gill Lui and Mary Wright, both artists. They were selected by Gallery Consultant Pamela Leeds.
Gallery hours are 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.Founded 30 years ago by Santa Monica College, Emeritus College serves about 3,500 older adults with 150 classes and special programs.
