Pedestrian Struck On Ocean Park Boulevard And 30th Street:

The driver of the vehicle that struck a pedestrian Sunday afternoon was cooperating with authorities.

As of 3:30 pm Sunday, westbound traffic along Ocean Park Boulevard was being diverted north onto 31st Street following an accident involving a pedestrian being struck in the crosswalk at Ocean Park and 30th Street.

According to a witness, the accident happened just after 3 pm. He said the male victim was walking northbound in the crosswalk and was “flipped” on impact.

The witness said the man was in pain but conscious when paramedics arrived and rushed to a local trauma center at about 3:15 pm.

The driver of the Ford Mustang, who wasn’t injured, was cooperating with authorities.
