It’s been an interesting month so far for the Pacifica Christian volleyball team. The Seawolves rolled through St. Monica (3-1) and Holy Martyrs Armenian (3-0) in consecutive games to start off the month of October.
However, Pacifica Christian hit a speed bump when the Seawolves went up against rival Cate on Saturday. The Seawolves went down in three sets to Cate, handing Pacifica Christian just its second defeat of the season. Cate raced out to a first set victory, recording a 25-17 win.
The Seawolves came back to claim the second set, notching a 29-27 win. Pacifica Christian, however, dropped the third set, 25-20. The Seawolves managed to come back from that tough defeat to go on the road and beat Glendale Adventist on Monday for its ninth win of the season.
Pacifica Christian beat Glendale Adventist 25-9, 25-9 and 25-13 to chalk up a 3-0 victory.
