Santa Monica Schools To Host Scholastic Surf Series Competition This Weekend:

A surf competition will be held this Saturday and Sunday in Santa Monica with local surfers such as Chloe Kleinman.

Santa Monica’s best young competitive surfers from Lincoln Middle School, John Adams Middle School, and Santa Monica High School will host the Scholastic Surf Series Competition this weekend.

Schools from Santa Barbara to San Diego will be competing from 7 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday just south of the Santa Monica Pier, near Lifeguard Stand 22.

Spectators are encouraged to watch the surfers who get up at least twice a week before 6 am to practice.

Organizers said the surfers are “stoked” to show the community how great they are.
