Jesse Cruz, 7, of Hollywood runs by the 1,892 crosses in Arlington West honoring the American soldiers who have been killed to date in Iraq. The Veterans for Peace set up the field of crosses north of the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday morning and it remained in place through sunset Monday, Volunteers are needed to sustain this work.
