Tonight: Full Northbound 405 Freeway Closure Between Santa Monica, Wilshire:

A full northbound 405 Freeway closure will take place tonight, March 14 from midnight to 5 am Saturday between Santa Monica Boulevard and Wilshire Boulevard. A detour will be initiatiated.

This closure will facilitate the re-striping of lanes, and work at the freeway median.

The northbound Santa Monica on-ramp and the northbound Olympic/Pico on-ramp at Cotner will be closed as early as 7 pm and lanes will begin to close at 10 pm.

The detour will take place from the northbound I-405, exiting at Santa Monica Boulevard, turning right to eastbound Santa Monica Boulevard, turning left to northbound Sepulveda Boulevard, turning right to eastbound Wilshire Boulevard and turning right onto the northbound I-405 on-ramp.

The northbound 405 Freeway will be accessible from the eastbound Wilshire northbound on-ramp
