Last Sunday the Santa Monica High School Surf Team trekked to the “Tar Pits” break in Carpinteria for the first Interscholastic Surf Federation meet of the ’05-’06 season.While several Samohi Vikings advanced to the second round, the team was blanked in the final trophy round. A total of eight high schools from Santa Monica coast competed in the event.
