The producers of The Panama Deception and Cover Up: Behind the Iran-Contra Affair will screen Soldiers Speak Out, a new DVD, at the Church in Ocean Park on Tuesday, November 15.
Scheduled to appear with the film, a new Empowerment Project documentary, are Oscar-winning producer Barbara Trent, Reverend Janet McKeithen, Blaise Bopane from the Office of the Americas, Abdul Henderson from Iraq Veterans Against the War and actress/activist Mimi Kennedy.
A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. The presentation and screening will begin at 7:30. A $15 donation is requested.The Church in Ocean Park is located at 235 Hill Street in Santa Monica.
